Grischa Beier researches the digital and socio-ecological transformation of business and industry. His work focuses on the opportunities and risks of digitalization in the context of sustainable development, as well as on the environmental and social impacts of digitally connected production and value creation systems.
The aim of his research is to identify the conditions under which digitalization can be shaped in a socially and environmentally sustainable manner. His work examines, among other aspects, the influence of digital technologies on resource consumption, environmental impacts and sustainable business management. The research group takes an interdisciplinary approach and develops practical recommendations for policymakers, businesses and society.
